Dad’s an architect; Mom rushes to pack lunches and pour cereal; their daughter and son are bright, wise-cracking teens, appearing to be a typical American family. And yet their lives are anything but normal because the mother has been battling manic depression for 16 years. Next to Normal takes audiences into the minds and hearts of each character, presenting their family’s story with love, sympathy and heart.

This deeply moving piece of theatre provides a wonderful opportunity for performers to explore dramatic material and showcase vocal talents with an energetic pop/rock score. Next to Normal is an emotional powerhouse that addresses such issues as grieving a loss, ethics in modern psychiatry, and suburban life

Rated PG 13, recommended for audience members 14+, strong language, parental advisory

Samantha Heath as Natalie Goodman

Musical Theatre 101: Spring 2017

you-2.jpg

This program saw lots of community engagement! We had a great time working in a new space, if you want us to come and do performance workshops with your students fill out the contact us page!

We are offering a 10 Week Spring Session Musical Theatre Program!

This program is a great place to learn all about singing, dancing and acting during a 2 hour period. We will be learning different ensemble musical theatre numbers throughout the session and will be video taping our numbers so each student gets a DVD of the performances at the end. We will also be performing one of our numbers at the Intune Music Academy’s June Recital!

This performance program will offer students a chance to get to be involved in the musical theatre and learn multiple skills that are important in becoming a triple threat. It allows students to learn three different arts in the span of a 2 hour class.
